Portability is often the main advantage of choosing a laptop
or a tablet PC .Pero, Which is better? Tablet PC o Laptop? Laptop o Tablet? Uhm, para sa akin,
laptop is better than tablet pc. Bakit? Mas madami kasing pwedeng gawin sa
laptop. Mas madaming applications ang pwedeng i-install. You can run more
programs here . Pero, technically, you will notice which is better as you read
this. J
Laptop. Laptop is a combined
functionality of a desktop with the portability of a mobile phone. . A laptop integrates most
of the components of a desktop
computer, including a display,
a keyboard, a pointing device and speakers into a single unit. A
laptop is powered by electricity via an AC adapter, and can be used away from an outlet using a rechargeable battery.
Tablet. It is a mobile computer, larger
than a mobile phone, integrated into a flat touch screen and
primarily operated by touching the screen rather than using a physical keyboard.
It often uses an onscreen virtual
keyboard, a passive stylus pen, or a digital
pen.
TABLET VS.LAPTOP
Size
Nakakita ka na naman for sure, ng
laptop at Tablet PC, hindi ba? Laptop is
bigger in size. It weighs 5 to 7 pounds samantalang ang Tablet PC weighs around
1.5 pounds lang. Kaya mas madaling dalhin ang Tablet PC. On the other hand, mas
A minimum screen size of
current tablets is 7 inch. Typically all 7 inch tablet computers are of slate
form. Tablets with convertible form have 10 inch or bigger screens.
Tablet
PC’s battery last up to ten hours while laptop’s battery last up to three hours only at mas
mababawasan ang span nito kung gumagamit ng applications such as videos and
games.
Productivity
Laptop is more productive than Tablet PCs. But with
additional keyboards and accessories, a tablet PC also converted into a serious
machine.
Hardware
Connectivity
There are huge peripheral support to laptops and Tablet
devices are yet to come to standard ports and connectors.
Storage Capacity
64GB, the largest drive available on tablets, isn't even half
of the storage available on a cheap laptop and a high end laptop can have as
much as 10 times or more the amount of storage space of the largest tablets.
Memory
RAM is important
when working with large files like video or picture editing, large amounts of
fast memory make any task using a large file faster. More advanced games also
require more RAM. Tablets typically have 256 to 512 megabytes of memory, this
was what you'd find in a laptop 5 or more years ago. Today most laptops come
with a minimum of 2 gigabytes of RAM though 3 and 4 gigs are common.
Navigation
Ang laptop, kailangan ng input devices gaya ng keyboard and mouse while ‘yung tablet
is touchscreen naman. Touch screen is responsive and more
natural to use than a mouse. On the other hand, mahirap icontrol ang touch
screen in doing typing jobs.
Operating System
Which is better?
Ikaw na
bahala humusga. Kung ang hanap mo ay portable, efficient and smart device, then you should
go for a tablet PC.
serious programming and similar other works, need software and hardware support,
laptop ang piliin mo. Basta ako, I go with laptop.
